What is the purpose ?

To identify the sources most often cited by models when your persona searches for information on the category analysed. These cited or most influential domains are based on the 6 attributes a brand has chosen to run the analysis for.

How do we calculate Domain Visibility Index ?

For each model, we calculate an index based on the frequency of domain appearance as a trusted sources and their position among the sources cited.

The scoring is as follow (out of 100):

  • 50 and above is blue - shows the highest frequency & positioning for a domain

  • 30 to 49 is orange - means medium frequency & positioning for a domain

  • and 29 and below is red - representing the lowest in this case

What could be its concrete use case?

  • This gives us a better understanding of the disparities between the models and therefore a better understanding of their governance in terms of data collection.

  • This can be particularly useful for content partnerships and PR strategy with sites that allow this.

Note that being mentioned as a source means that these models use them in their learning model, and that their presence in this ranking is a positive acknowledgement.
